RAJA AMPAT
Raja Ampat is more than a top rated diving destination, it’s a living masterpiece of nature, both above and below the surface. Located off the northwest tip of Papua, this remote Indonesian archipelago is considered one of the richest marine biodiversity hotspots on Earth. It's a dream location for divers, where each day reveals a new underwater wonder.
Our expeditions take you into the heart of this pristine region, where crystal-clear waters meet dramatic limestone islands and untouched coral reefs. From Melissa’s Garden off the Dampier Strait to Magic Mountain, in the Misool region, you will dive into vibrant ecosystems teeming with life. Manta rays, wobbegong sharks, turtles, pygmy seahorses, and even the rare walking shark could make their appearance at any given moment. For those who prefer to stay near the surface, snorkeling, kayaking and trekking offer equally breathtaking views of Raja Ampat’s marine beauty.
But the journey doesn’t stop in the water. Our treks through the national park offer quiet encounters with local life and the natural rhythms of the region. Along the way, you may cross paths with friendly Papuan villagers going about their day. For early risers, our bird-watching trek is a highlight; a peaceful morning spent in search of hornbills and the elusive bird of paradise, followed by a serene return to Scubaspa Zen just as the sun begins to rise.
Whether you are a passionate diver, a nature lover, or simply seeking something extraordinary, Raja Ampat offers a liveaboard experience that is unforgettable; showcasing the unparalleled beauty of its landscapes, the richness of its marine life, and the depth of its local culture.
Choose from our flexible 7- or 10-night itinerary, each crafted to showcase the best of Raja Ampat, from world-renowned dive sites to quiet moments surrounded by nature at its most unspoiled.
KOMODO NATIONAL PARK
Komodo National Park is one of those rare places that has it all; dramatic landscapes, legendary Komodo dragons, and some of the most exciting diving in Indonesia. As a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it’s a destination that combines raw nature with real adventure. On land, you will trek to spot the world’s largest lizard, the infamous Komodo dragron. Below the surface, strong currents fuel vibrant coral reefs where manta rays, reef sharks, and an incredible variety of marine life thrive. It’s a favorite for divers looking for something a little wilder.
We are heading back to Komodo in 2026 with limited departures. Choose from our 7-, 9-, or 10-night liveaboard trips to explore the best dive sites around the Komodo National Park.
FORGOTTEN ISLANDS, BANDA SEA & BEYOND
Spanning over 1,000 kilometers from Timor to West Papua, Indonesia’s Forgotten Islands stretch across the remote Banda Sea, weaving through the heart of the Maluku Islands. This region is rarely visited, largely undeveloped, and perfect for those seeking an off-the-beaten-path dive experience.
Scuba diving here means drifting along steep underwater walls, swimming past massive sea fans, vibrant soft corals, and encountering marine life like reef sharks, hammerheads, mobula rays, barracudas, sea snakes, and dense schools of fish. Visibility is often exceptional, and every dive site feels like a hidden gem; ideal for experienced divers exploring Indonesia by liveaboard.
Depending on the season, our 10-night expedition runs between Ambon and Sorong, covering iconic Banda Sea sites and Misool area, in the southern tip of Raja Ampat. Along the way, land excursions offer glimpses into island life, from the colonial charm of Banda Neira to small villages scattered across the Maluku coastline.
These expeditions are offered once a year, timed for the best sea conditions in the northern Banda Sea and eastern Maluku region. It’s a rare opportunity to explore one of Indonesia’s most remote and rewarding diving areas.
TRITON BAY, WEST PAPUA
Tucked away in the far south of West Papua, Triton Bay is one of the most remote and untouched destinations in Indonesia. Known for its dramatic limestone cliffs, jungle-covered islands, and a waterfall that spills straight into the sea, this region is as striking above the surface as it is below.
Underwater, Triton Bay delivers a unique scuba diving experience. Soft coral gardens and healthy reefs provide shelter for nudibranchs, reef fish, and critters of all kinds. With few boats in the area and calm, nutrient-rich waters, diving here feels peaceful and personal. Don’t miss dive sites such as Little Komodo with its great and steady current or to dive under some bagan to snorkel or dive with whale sharks and dolphins.
Our 10-night liveaboard expedition is ideal for divers looking to extend their trip to the Banda Sea or Raja Ampat, while staying well off the usual routes.
CENDERAWASIH BAY
Cenderawasih Bay is best described as remote, calm, and full of surprises. Located on the northern coast of West Papua, just northeast of Raja Ampat, this region offers a truly unique scuba diving experience in Indonesia. It’s known for its still waters, coral-covered slopes, and a collection of WWII wrecks scattered along the seafloor.
What really sets Cenderawasih apart is the opportunity to swim with whale sharks. These gentle giants often gather around traditional fishing platforms called bagan, allowing for rare, unhurried encounters for both divers and snorkelers.
The name “Cenderawasih” means Bird of Paradise Bay; a fitting title for a place where nature is both serene and spectacular. Our 7-night liveaboard expedition blends world-class diving with moments of stillness: early yoga sessions on the top deck, quiet beaches, lush mangroves, and the sounds of birdlife at sunrise prior to an incredible day of diving.
